Jennifer studied the field of Nutrition at SUNY Plattsburgh and then furthered her education through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN). She spent several years working in the food industry for the Marriott Corporation and is now a proud owner of Mind, Body and Balance specializing in coaching for Nutrition and Wellness.
Coming from a background of heart and lung disease and intestinal conditions, Jennifer realizes the importance of a healthy lifestyle based on preventative health and good nutrition. She has fully embraced her passion by becoming a Certified Nutrition and Wellness Coach, a member of the American Academy of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) and by continuing her education at Stanford University and through workshops on nutrition, mindfulness and overall wellbeing.
Jennifer has undergone extensive training in the area of integrative nutrition through IIN and it’s cutting-edge training program. She has studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. Her teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University.
Her education has equipped her with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. Drawing on all the knowledge and skills learned, Jennifer will work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.
